The Shelburne Falls Welcome Committee supports refugees in Western Mass who are coping with ICE abductions and the loss of refugee services. We help with housing and managing evictions, job hunting, workforce training, job placement, health care, asylum applications, ESOL, education and training, transportation, health care, food, and more.
And we could use your help!
Join us for a benefit for immigrant rights on November 1st at 7 pm at the Buckland Shelburne Community Center for a concert and dance party with Rani Arbo and Daisy Mayhem.
Send in your Tax Deductible Donations:
We have signed up with Common Good to process donations, and with Creative Thought and Action to provide you with a tax deduction for your donation.

While raising money is essential, other kinds of support are even more important. We are looking to build a strong community to assist. Are there other ways you might be able to help? Let us know here
We have also supported two families with six young children in Syria who want to join their extended family members already living in Western Massachusetts. They lived in Jordan from 2012 to 2025 before they were deported back to Syria. They are still seeking asylum in the US. They are facing overwhelming hardship. Two of our donors agreed to send them $5,000 that they used to open a small grocery store so that they could generate income to support their families. When the US border opens again to those seeking asylum, we will welcome them here.
Thank you for any support you can provide.
All the best,
